It is in a different class of its own, nonetheless BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9982 is insanely pricey at $2,350. Its release date is set for Nov. 21
If you thought that BlackBerry's some current handsets were overpriced, you were simply wrong. There comes one handset from the Ontario based tech giant BlackBerry that makes them look utterly cheap.
Many people have said that the reason BlackBerry handsets are flopping one after the other is due to the fact that this company that is very confused about itself and its products is simply over pricing its handset. Though for it, its new breed of handsets may look top class products, but for smartphone users who have been accustomed to using high end handsets from Apple and Android handset manufacturers BlackBerry handsets are mid-range.
And no one is actually ready to pay sky-high price for a mid-range handset. This is the reason that BlackBerry has seen its products flop one after the other. And to top it all, its operating system is no match for the best operating systems like Apple's iOS, Android or even compared to Windows Phone 8 from Microsoft.
But it is no deterrent for the foolhardy company from launching a very expensive handset in the form of P'9982 with Porsche Design that will make you poorer by a whopping $2,350. Reports suggest that the company has redesigned its Z10 model with high-quality materials and a special BBM PIN that will only be recognizable in the exclusive world of Porche Design smartphone owners. So it is an exclusive handset, but I am not sure if there are going to be any takers for this insanely high priced handset.
