New Delhi: At the launch event of its 41 megapixel cameraphone - Lumia 1020 - in India, declined to reveal the price and said that the price of the smartphone would be revealed on October 10, a day before the phone is expected to hit store shelves.
But the phone is already up for pre-order on the online Nokia Shop (powered by Indiatimes Shopping) at Rs 49,999. The site though says the phone would be "releasing by 3rd Week of October." The listed Nokia Lumia 1020 also includes also a pair of Nokia WH-530 stereo headphones for free.

The phone is available in three colours - black, yellow and white. Nokia had previously announced that the accessories designed for the Lumia 1020, the Nokia Camera Grip will cost Rs 7,500 and the wireless charging shell would be available for Rs 3,200.
Nokia unveiled its latest Lumia smartphone, the Lumia 1020, that is equipped with a 41-megapixel camera in its latest bid to catch up with rivals Samsung and Apple.
The 41-megapixel camera records more detail than other camera phones and even tops point-and-shoot cameras. More pixels mean more sensors for capturing the light that forms an image.
Nokia says the Lumia 1020 gives people the ability to take good pictures with a device they always carry. It also has a HD 1.2 megapixel wide angle front camera.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 has a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA (1280x768) display. It also includes a 2.5 D sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Nokia Lumia 1020's 41 megapixel sensor features Zeiss optics with six physical lenses with optical image stabilisation.
Nokia also announced the new Nokia Camera Grip, an accessory for the Lumia 1020.
The Nokia Camera Grip also has a tripod mount, and will be available this month for $79.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 will be available in yellow, white and black. The phone has 32GB of internal memory, and the company is also offering 7GB free SkyDrive cloud storage.
Powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 prcessor and 2GB of RAM, the phone runs Microsoft's Windows phone 8.
The Lumia 1020 comes with a 2000 mAh battery. It does not include built-in wireless charging, but it suppports wireless charging via an attachable cover.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 will be available first in the US from AT&T. The Lumia 1020 will be available on AT&T in the US starting July 26 for $299.99 with a two-year contract.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 is expected to arrive in China and key European markets this quarter. Nokia plans to ship an exclusive variant of the device with Telefonica to select European and Latin American markets.
