Well, Android 4.4 KitKat is now the Android version most Android users are waiting to get on their phone. Rumors have it that the Android 4.3 is supposed to come on popular Samsung phones like Galaxy S4 and Mega series phone. The update is going to come through Samsung Canada and the Galaxy S4 is the major device that is scheduled to get Android 4.3 update.
So if you are living in Canada and using the Galaxy S4, you are in a good position to get the Android 4.3 on your phone. The announcement has come from Samsung Canada Vice President Enterprise Business Division, Pau Brannan who has confirmed that the company is working with carriers in Canada to roll out Android 4.3 update on all the Galaxy S4 devices in Canada.
According to the rumor, Samsung will be releasing Premium Suite at the year end and at the same time it will also offer the Android 4.3 update. So, as you guessed it, the release date of Android 4.3 update for Samsung seems to be quite fuzzy. However, another rumor reveals that the update is going to arrive in Canada in November.
What about the Galaxy S4 outside Canada? Well, November is not the month that users outside Canada should be waiting for. Some rumors even state that the update will arrive as early as in month of October.
What is so good about the Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S4 is that after the update users will be able to use the Galaxy Gear smartwatch with the Galaxy S4. Without the update, Galaxy S4 users can use Galaxy Gear smartwatch with the phone. Now, only the Galaxy Note 3 can communicate with the Galaxy Gear because it comes loaded with Android 4.3.
